Get In TouchWe didn’t imagine it was going to be as difficult as it was and he very willingly took down the entire kitchen ceiling in order to make our lighting work the way we needed it to. And I guess the part for my husband and I that was most amazing in the midst of that process is they never got off their timeline.
“The house was built in the early 1960’s, I don’t think anyone had touched [the kitchen] since then except for a little paint here and there. We knew that we needed to do some redesign. We knew we wanted to take out a wall and open up the space. So we needed some expertise, we weren’t going to be able to do this project alone. We had some interesting things when he finally opened up the walls because it’s an old house, you always find unexpected things. We discovered really quickly we had to reroute some of the electrical wiring. We didn’t imagine it was going to be as difficult as it was and he very willingly took down the entire kitchen ceiling in order to make our lighting work the way we needed it to. And I guess the part for my husband and I that was most amazing in the midst of that process is they never got off their timeline. Jeremy was very clear that he was going to stay on schedule and try really hard to even as we had to do extra work, particularly with the kitchen ceiling, to stay within the schedule that he had allotted us at the very beginning.”

[Jeremy’s] quote was at least 6 pages long with details of everything. Who’s doing what, who’s buying what, where are we getting different things. It didn’t really leave a lot of room for me to ask questions because most of them were answered.”
“We really wanted to bring [our bathroom] up to date and make some changes … And we finally decided that we were going to pull the trigger. We’re going to get some estimates, talk to some folks. Jeremy was actually with Venture Builders, the first company that we called. When we got bids from other companies, they weren’t as detailed and as thoughtful as Jeremy’s was. And that’s one of the things that Jeremy did, his quote was at least 6 pages long with details of everything. Who’s doing what, who’s buying what, where are we getting different things. It didn’t really leave a lot of room for me to ask questions because most of them were answered.”

I would say for Venture Builders, my rating would be a 10+. Because they worked with us from day one to the very end to make sure that we were getting what we wanted, what we asked for.
“Our feeling beforehand was dread. Having people over and feeling like it wasn’t good enough for us. Now when I come into the kitchen, it makes me happy. We’re very happy with the lighting, with the cabinets. It’s very fashionable. I’m not a big cook, but when I come in, it makes me feel like I’m a really good cook. I feel really happy when I’m here in my kitchen. I would say for Venture Builders, my rating would be a 10+. Because they worked with us from day one to the very end to make sure that we were getting what we wanted, what we asked for.”
