Who We Are
Venture Builders is a local, family-oriented remodeler that has been in the ‘Valley since 1989. We provide contracting services in the local Shenandoah Valley and Harrisonburg, VA area. A sample of our work includes bathroom and kitchen remodels, decks, and home improvements.
We believe in empowering our employees to take ownership in all they do. One of our goals as an employer is to help build up our team so they can continue to grow in their skillset.
What we’re seeking
Venture Builders Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, experienced carpenter. The right person will bring eagerness to being a team player as well as display professionalism in our client’s homes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, performing all carpentry tasks needed on the job, daily. Our fun-loving atmosphere requires attention to detail, self-motivation, teamwork, along with solid communication with the other members of the team. You can expect frequent communication with the project manager to ensure the schedule is on track, interacting with the client on important information, as well as communicating with the rest of the team and subcontractors on progress.
Our team consists of a business manager, construction manager, designer/salesperson, and carpenters. Additional expectations may include: purchasing materials as needed, determining material quantities, and keeping the workspace and client’s home clean and tidy every day. Venture Builders is a close team that enjoys having fun while we work. The right candidate will be like-minded, trustworthy, organized, and enjoy what they do. Excellent pay with benefits included.

Additional qualifications
- Friendly, happy, and gets along with others

- An excellent communicator
- 3 years or more of carpentry experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Perform a variety of different carpentry tasks such as flooring, cabinets, trim, framing, and doors and windows
