Harrisonburg, VA Primary Bath Remodel
This primary bathroom remodel transformed a divided layout into a more open space designed around the homeowners’ everyday routines. Removing unnecessary walls made room for a spacious walk-in shower, freestanding tub, and vanity with significantly more storage. The adjoining walk-in closet was also updated with custom storage to improve organization and make better use of the space.
Stained hickory inset cabinetry brings natural warmth to the bathroom and gives the vanity a furniture-like feel. Concealed storage keeps everyday essentials within reach, while integrated charging adds another layer of convenience. Heated flooring makes the space more comfortable underfoot, and toe-kick lighting creates a soft glow that can serve as a night light.
The walk-in shower is a standout feature, pairing rich green tile with champagne bronze fixtures and surrounding glass. An elongated lighted niche offers convenient storage while carrying the accent tile across the shower for a more intentional, finished look.
The result is a modern bathroom that functions better for the homeowners while incorporating materials and thoughtful details designed to last. This project was completed alongside the “Guest Bathroom Remodel” in the same Harrisonburg, VA home.
