Shenandoah Valley, Custom Home Build

Built from the ground up, this custom home in Augusta County, Virginia, gave our Venture Builders, Inc. team the opportunity to bring an entirely new home to life. This Shenandoah Valley custom home build was thoughtfully planned around the homeowners’ needs, long-term lifestyle, and the unique setting of the property. Inside, an open-concept layout connects the kitchen and main living areas, while large windows bring in natural light and highlight the surrounding views. The kitchen combines natural wood and white cabinetry with stone countertops, a large island, generous storage, and a walk-in pantry. Throughout the home, carefully selected finishes create a comfortable, cohesive feel while allowing each space to serve its own purpose. Functionality and accessibility were also important considerations in the design. The home includes a dedicated laundry room, multiple bathrooms, spacious closets, an attached garage, and a walk-out basement that provides additional flexibility for the homeowners. The primary bathroom incorporates accessible features, including a spacious walk-in shower with built-in storage, grab bars, and a handheld shower fixture. The outdoor spaces were designed to make the most of the home’s Shenandoah Valley setting. Covered and screened porch areas extend the living space outdoors, providing comfortable places to enjoy the surrounding farmland, mountain views, and changing seasons. From the earliest stages of planning through construction and the finishing details, our team managed each phase of this new home build. The result brings together thoughtful design, craftsmanship, practical features, and details selected specifically for the homeowners. Built for both their current needs and the years ahead, this home reflects the possibilities of creating a space from the ground up around the people who will call it home.

Harrisonburg, VA Hall Bath Remodel

The Harrisonburg, VA guest bathroom remodel began with a divided layout that separated the room into two sections. Removing the partition wall opened up the space and made room for a new linen cabinet, while the former linen closet was repurposed as a laundry area with a stacked washer and dryer. The result makes better use of the existing footprint while adding function for the homeowners. Natural walnut inset cabinetry is a defining feature of the new bathroom, bringing warmth and beautiful variation in the wood grain against the charcoal tile floor. The vanity and full-height linen cabinet offer generous storage, with matte black hardware and walnut-framed mirrors completing the look. Along the base of the cabinetry, integrated toe-kick lighting creates a soft glow and doubles as a useful pathway light at night. Elongated white subway tile gives the shower and tub a clean, streamlined look. A lighted niche provides built-in storage with a subtle touch of ambiance. Warm metal plumbing fixtures and a grab bar complete the space. Completed alongside the Harrisonburg, VA Primary Bathroom Remodel, this space was designed to feel connected to the other updates throughout the home. Material selections also coordinate with the previously completed Lakewood Kitchen, carrying a sense of continuity from one project to the next without making the spaces feel identical. With a more open layout, additional storage, and a secondary laundry area tucked neatly into the room, the finished bathroom is better suited to the homeowners’ everyday routines.

Harrisonburg, VA Primary Bath Remodel

This primary bathroom remodel transformed a divided layout into a more open space designed around the homeowners’ everyday routines. Removing unnecessary walls made room for a spacious walk-in shower, freestanding tub, and vanity with significantly more storage. The adjoining walk-in closet was also updated with custom storage to improve organization and make better use of the space. Stained hickory inset cabinetry brings natural warmth to the bathroom and gives the vanity a furniture-like feel. Concealed storage keeps everyday essentials within reach, while integrated charging adds another layer of convenience. Heated flooring makes the space more comfortable underfoot, and toe-kick lighting creates a soft glow that can serve as a night light. The walk-in shower is a standout feature, pairing rich green tile with champagne bronze fixtures and surrounding glass. An elongated lighted niche offers convenient storage while carrying the accent tile across the shower for a more intentional, finished look. The result is a modern bathroom that functions better for the homeowners while incorporating materials and thoughtful details designed to last. This project was completed alongside the “Guest Bathroom Remodel” in the same Harrisonburg, VA home.

Timberville, VA Two-Bathroom Renovation

This Timberville, VA remodeling project began with two adjoining full bathrooms and one shared challenge: the existing layout limited the size of the primary bathroom, where the homeowners needed it most. To make better use of the home’s existing footprint, we relocated the wall between the rooms and converted the hall bathroom from a full bath into a half bath. The redesigned primary bathroom gained a larger Onyx shower with built-in storage, a bench, grab bar and handheld shower-head. Crystal cabinetry and a mirrored medicine cabinet provide practical storage, while durable LVP flooring completes the clean, polished space. In the hall half bath, a compact corner sink preserves valuable floor space while a mirrored medicine cabinet adds hidden storage. LVP flooring and soft green walls give the smaller room a fresh, inviting feel. By rebalancing the square footage between these adjoining bathrooms, the homeowners gained a more comfortable primary bathroom and a thoughtfully designed hall half bath without expanding the home’s footprint.

Rockingham County Bathroom & Utility Room Remodel

This Rockingham County, VA bathroom remodel transformed an existing half bath into a full bathroom while refreshing the adjoining utility room. The project reconfigured the layout and used part of the utility area to expand the bathroom. The new footprint created room for a shower and added greater functionality for the homeowners. The completed bathroom features a glass-enclosed shower with a handheld shower head, built-in corner storage, and matte-black fixtures. Open shelving beside the shower provides convenient storage without crowding the room. A cherry vanity in an Acorn stain adds warmth and natural character. The honed Fantasy Brown granite countertop introduces soft movement and contrast. A lighted mirror, new toilet, and updated accessories complete the bright, modern space. Updates continued into the utility room to connect the two areas. New flooring flows through both rooms, creating a cohesive look. The project also included smooth ceilings, recessed lighting, and electrical improvements. The homeowners kept the existing utility-room cabinetry while updating the laundry sink, faucet, and countertop. Honed Fantasy Brown granite coordinates with the bathroom vanity, and a matte-black faucet adds a clean finishing touch. Together, these updates make better use of the existing footprint. The finished project provides a full bathroom and a refreshed utility room designed for everyday use.

Belmont Bathroom Remodel

Welcome to the Belmont Bathroom Remodel. For this remodel, the goal was to create a modern space with improved functionality, enhanced storage, and a touch of luxury. To make the most of the existing footprint, the oversized and unused jacuzzi tub was removed and the layout was reworked to improve flow throughout the room. This change opened up the space and created opportunities for a spacious walk-in shower, a new linen closet, and storage solutions tailored to the homeowners' needs. The updated layout allows the room to feel more open and inviting while making better use of every square foot. The charcoal double vanity serves as the centerpiece of the design, adding contrast and contemporary style. A custom stacked center tower creates visual balance between the two sink areas while providing convenient storage. Integrated toe-kick lighting adds warmth and dimension, highlighting the cabinetry and contributing to the bathroom's clean, modern aesthetic. Thoughtful details help bring the design together. Custom shower niches provide a practical place for everyday essentials, while updated fixtures and hardware add a polished finishing touch. For added comfort, heated tile flooring was installed throughout the entire bathroom, including the shower, creating a spa-like experience every day. The result is a bathroom that feels brighter, more spacious, and far more functional than before. With a refreshed layout, purposeful storage, and carefully selected details, the space now reflects the way the homeowners live today while offering a modern design they can enjoy for years to come. The finished space balances style and practicality, creating a retreat that is both beautiful and highly functional.

Massanutten Primary Bathroom

This bathroom remodel was part of a larger multi-project home renovation. The original layout included an oversized utility room and a primary bathroom that lacked the space and functionality the homeowners desired. By reconfiguring the floor plan, the washer and dryer were relocated into a streamlined closet, allowing the primary bathroom to expand. The new design features a walk-in shower, a double vanity, and lighter finishes that brighten the room and create a spa-like retreat. This remodel not only improved the use of space but also enhanced both comfort and functionality, bringing long-term value to the home.

Full Home Renovation

This comprehensive home renovation involved gutting and rebuilding the entire home from the ground up, reframing rooms and constructing full bathrooms to better serve the family’s needs. The project featured a standout kitchen with upgraded cabinetry, appliances, storage, and finishes. New windows and doors were installed throughout, allowing for abundant natural light and showcasing breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain range. The primary bedroom and en-suite bathroom were transformed with custom finishes, a sleek open-concept tiled shower, and heated floors. The lower level was reimagined to include new bedrooms, multiple full bathrooms, a functional laundry area, and enhanced lighting. Every space was designed to reflect the home’s natural setting, with fixtures and finishes that elevate both form and function.

Park View Bathroom

This remodel transformed a previously enclosed primary bathroom into a brighter, more open space. By removing the wall around the shower, natural light now flows freely through the room, enhancing both visibility and layout. Soft, muted tones on the cabinetry, walls, and countertops contribute to a clean, understated aesthetic, while updated flooring and modern fixtures bring in function and style. The result is a thoughtfully refreshed space designed for comfort, clarity, and daily ease.
